Pool Rules

Pool Rules:


  1. Lifeguard MUST be on duty to enter pool area.
  2. Every swimmer must shower with water before entering the pool.
  3. Hair shoulder length or longer must be put in a braid or cap.
  4. Any swimmer with a cold, nasal or ear discharge, boils, open cuts, sore, or wearing bandages should not enter the pool.
  5. Street shoes are NOT ALLOWED on the pool deck.
  6. No spitting, spouting water, or blowing nose in pool.
  7. No running, pushing, or horseplay in the water or on the deck.
  8. No diapers, rubber diapers, or waterproof diapers in the pool.
  9. Anyone under the age of 10 may not use the pool unsupervised.
  10. Anyone using floatation devices for help must stay in the shallow end of the pool.
  11. Anyone who has not passed the Deep End Test must stay in the shallow end of the pool.
  12. Diving is not allowed in shallow end or from the sides of the pool.
  13. Forward jumping and diving only – no flips or tricks.
  14. NO food, drinks, or glass containers in the pool area or in the locker rooms.
  15. No hanging on the lane markers.
  16. No prolonged breath holding – it is very dangerous and is not allowed.
