A Community Partner is a business or organization, within our service areas, that is interested in providing specific programming to youth at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine for a discounted cost or free of charge. Community Partners bring their expertise into our clubhouses and help enhance the experiences and opportunities that we provide to our members.
By offering volunteer opportunities with BGCSM to employees, businesses have benefited from meaningful employee engagement while demonstrating a strong sense of leadership, social responsibility, and connection to the community.
Some ways to engage your team in supporting BGCSM:
Ongoing volunteer opportunities for individuals to support various programs such as homework tutors, instructors, and mentors depending on you area of interest.
One-time or recurring volunteer projects such as painting, landscaping, preparing program materials, or renovating our spaces.
Goods drives to provide our members with back-to-school supplies, holiday gifts, or items to get ready for summer.
Attending or volunteering at a Club event or fundraiser.
